8x8 Kit~~100% In Love

I put together my first kit that I titled, "100% In Love".  It is so pretty...and I love the colors.  Each kit contains:  a page of 3D stickers, a page of stickers, and 6~8x8 papers.  But, a kit is not complete without pretty ribbons, brads, and paperclips~ so I am adding 4 paperclips, 12 brads, and several pieces of ribbon to each kit...A few other kits that I am working on are:  Pregnancy, Mommy-To-Be, We're Engaged, Baby Boy, Baby Girl, My First Ultrasound, and BFF's....With each kit, I plan to include an instruction sheet with ideas, and samples for you to try.  If you would like to purchase one of these kits or have any questions, you may email me at poshcreations4u@gmail.com I hope you are enjoying this beautiful weather!! This is my favorite time of the year!!  I usually start scrapping my recipes for the holidays, and today I found a website for free templates, so I thought I would share them with you!  Check it out

~How To Make Your Own Handmade Cards~

In addition to scrapbooking, I have also started making handmade cards...It is fun, and I really enjoy writing my own quotes (and sharing others) and then creating something pretty!  Here are the steps, if you would like to try it!

~The first step to making handmade greeting cards is gathering all your supplies. You will need card stock, acid free scrapbooking paper, glue dots or double sided tape, photos, stamp pads, markers, and photo paper, embellishments, and stickers.  I also use brads and paper clips. 

~After deciding what images and sentiments you want to put on your card, you are ready to get started!  You can stamp designs and color them with markers, or you can type quotes on your computer and use your own photos.  Most of my cards are typed quotes on front, then you slide the top paper over and I attach a photo, and this is where you would add your journaling. 

~If you decide to completely hand make your card, you need to decide on what papers you want to use. Glue them on to card stock. It is fun to mix several different patterns. Add your rubber stamped image that you colored in with markers or your quote and photo, and add some embellishments.  Then you are done!

How to make a paperbag scrapbook...

This is one of my favorite things to make in scrapbooking...they are so cute!!  A paperbag scrapbook album is very unique, and pretty easy to make...
I like to use small paperbags...but you can use any size you want. 

1.  I take 3 paperbags, and fold them all together, in half.
2.  Hole punch them down the side, I put 3 to 5 holes in mine.
3. Cut your base cardstock papers approx 4.5 x 4.5 each, then glue them to the paper bags, each page at a time.
4.  This is where it gets fun!!  =)  I start embellishing each page with cute brads, paperclips, stickers, 3 d stickers, quotes, just whatever!  Anything to make it cute....
5.  Also you should cut 2 small papers, per page, and tape them to your bottom cardstock page, so you can add your pics, later.
6.  After everything is glued/taped on each page, go through book and add pretty ribbons...I staple them, I think it looks cute, but also it helps hold all of your papers onto the bags...
7.  Tie ribbons through the holes to connect the bags together, and there you have it, your pretty little paper bag scrapbook is done!

12x12 pregnancy scrapbook layout pages...very cute

12x12 baby boy scrapbook page layout.....so cute!!  Embellished with ribbon, inked papers, paper clips, stickers, "10 things i adore about my baby boy" embellishment.....you can pull out each number and write down something about your baby boy....Totally adorable!!

How to make a 12x12 scrapbook page layout

When doing a 12x12 page layout, you need to first choose a theme....Once you have chosen a theme, gather pictures that relate to it.  I usually pick 3 to 4 pics per page.  

Then go through the pics and place them on cardstock paper, or some type of colorful paper, either with a glue stick  or double sided sticky tape...by the way, double sided sticky tape is the best!!! well, that is my opinion, ha...but i do love it so~!  then once you adhere your pics, trim around the edges....once you have done so...you should get some of the cat's eye ink chalk, (craft stores sell it, and i am bias to michael's craft store =) ) and ink all around the edges...it gives it a brighter, prettier look, then you adhere the cut out pics to your 12x12 page (of your choice).....then this is where the fun starts!!! HEHEHE......I like to add tons of ribbons....brads....paper clips....3D stickers....All kinds of Glam....The best part about scrapbooking is you get to be you!!! You can do whatever you want to your pages....Believe it or not, practice makes perfect, and the more you do it, the better you get, and the more you wanna do it!!! Scrapbooking becomes addictive!!! It truly does, and more so, can get costly.....So....here are some tips....instead of buying those o so cute quote stickers, print out your own quotes, add them to paper, and "glam them up"....also....I make up my own quotes, so just think about what your theme is, think about feelings, time of day, dates, what is going on, and so on, and print it up on your computer!  These are the best scrap pages......this is my opinion...but give it a shot!!!  And please join my site, share your thoughts, opinions, email me...whatever!! One of my favorite pics of Adyson...This was taken at Clearwater Beach FL, and she is holding the surf board she bought with the money that her grandma Grace gave her for her 5th Birthday.  12x12 layout, I will add this embellished page to her scrapbook...It contains:  ribbons, paperclips, a 4x6 3D embellished picture frame, 3d letter A, and tons of pretty ribbon....This page was fun to create!  What is your favorite theme to scrapbook?  Any requests? 

12x12 "These Girl's Rock" Scrapbook Page

This 12x12 page layout is for my daughter and her cousin, Andi...They are both very similar and so cute together!  These girly girls are so adorable and I think this page details their personalities perfectly!  I embellished this page with ribbon, thick cardstock, brads, jeweled stickers, cute 3D flower Stickers, paperclips, and inked all around the edges to create a brighter appearance.  I enjoy making pages about my kids the most.  Please leave feedback....and follow me on twitter!!  Thank you, Stacie, creator of Posh Creations
